This is an extension of the first iteration of the home server. The cooler was upgraded and a CoolerMaster ARGB controller was added, as well as ARGB rope lighting under the motherboard. Being an Intel K-series chip it would get quite warm if you let it, so I wanted another way to get eyes on the temps during long batch jobs. To that end I paired the ARGB with a controller that came with a thermal probe, mounted that behind the CPU on the motherboard and used a preset that would grade from blue to red as the probe heated up. In this way I could transfer large files and give the machine breaks if it needed.
